Hi all,

I have a Digital PWS 600a and succesfully installed FreeBSD
4.4-release over FTP.

Now I want to compile my own kernel and therfore I used the GENERIC
config file and the only thing I changed is the MAXUSERS statement
which I changed from 32 to 128.

When it compiles it stops with the following error codes:

@/alpha/linux/linux.h:34: linux_syscall.h: No such file or directory
In file included from
/usr/src/sys/modules/linux/../../alpha/linux/linux_genassym.c:8:
@/alpha/linux/linux.h:428: 'LINUX_SYS_MAXSYSCALL' undeclared here (not
in a function)
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/src/sys/modules/linux.
*** Error code 1

I have tried different values instead of 128 but that didn't matter. I
also installed the linux emulator. It seems that the error has
something to do with the MAXUSERS statement in the config file.

Does anyone know how I can successfully compile my own kernel?

Thanks,
Marco
