May I ask who ad WC said such a thing?  Heresay is not welcome.

I think you don't really have any idea what exactly 'costs' are.  What
about the hardware, the insert, advertising, staffing costs, rent, and
all those other things.  Do you think they get it all for free?

Gee, and I though it was the FreeBSD folks who really support the
project.

Hmm, I have *never* been a WC employee, and neither are *most* of the
core members.  As one of the original founders, I can't even begin to
understand where your twisted sense of reality is based.  I am no longer
a core member out of choice, but before I resigned I put in hundreds if
not thousands of hours into the project w/out *ANY* compensation.  There
are others whose accomplishments make mine pale in comparison.  Those
are the folks who 'support' the project.

Sorry for venting, but people who respond like this really tick me off,
