At http://www.google.com and http://groups.google.com the search 
"freebsd diskless" found a shade under 20,000 hits.  Several of the hits 
on the first couple of pages did look relevant, though since I've never 
tried running a diskless configuration my assessment of relevance may 
be suspect.
