After compiling the Prerelease 12.1, the problem is a little bit different.=
 As
somebody else has noticed, when the network card is disconnected the connec=
tion
seems to work for quite a long time (about 30 minutes in my longest test).

But if you unplug the network switch for longer (one night for instance), a
similar but different message (this time it is about a watchdog) is display=
ed.

The message produced is:
igb0: Watchdog timeout (TX: 0 desc avail: 1024 pidx: 0) -- resetting

Is it possible to suppress the watchdog?
