Hello, I have a bootable usb image file which I would like to use as an installer medium under byhve, a Linux based stuff. Using dd to write image file to an usb stick and installing stuff from it works ok. However under bhyve accessing the image as ahci-hd or virtio-blk and using grub-bhyve, guest does not boot up. What is the proper way to use bootable image file? Will it work at all or it is not (yet) supported? Can someone please show me a how-to? Thanks.
