 Two suggestions:
 
 1) This port uses old wish4.2 ... I'd suggest you patch it to use tk80
    instead.
 
 2) The default behaviour of catdoc when operating on Word97 documents is
    to spew high ASCII junk chars that trash the terminal display.
    Perhaps you should mention in pkg/DESCR which versions it supports
    and patch to cut out crapchars by default.
