This is again presumptuous and does not rectify the underlying issue...

So, can I expect a decision towards the issues raised in comment #10 from
portmgr@, or are we to shoot down any sane argument that might be represent=
ing
user concerns, such as those offered in this thread while at the same time
making it unnecessarily hard for less experienced porters to contribute?
