Some people(like me) use ATAPI Zip(EIDE). It also works fine.
(no cmos setup is need, but detects well in kernel!) It is very
fast(though I have no info about SCSI version), and just like EIDE...
(even I have installed 2.2-970618-RELENG from ZipDrive! :)
