Glad to hear you liked it.  Many people on the ports team worked very
hard to get rid of giflib dependencies from the 150+ ports that wanted
it, that was why we could delete it so quickly. :)

P.S. Ok, so many of them only depended on it because of dependency
     chaining, but anyway.
