I have 4.0 and 5.0 installed on my PCG-505TS.

Mine is.

device pcm0	at isa? port ? irq 5 drq 1 flags 0x0

and I also have options PNPBIOS in my config file as well.

: the external Sony CDROM. I have the pccard.conf
: file that used to work with the 'NinjaATA' CDROM pcmcia card with
: FreeBSD 3.4 and I tried to adapt it to work with 4.0 with no success.

With 3.4 PAO you mean? 3.4 didn't support pccard cdrom. Please send
it to me along with the pccardc dumpcis output, and I'll make any
corrections. I'm able to use my microtech cdrom on my laptop w/o any
problems.
