A fix to the incorrect line spacing in print/freetype2 has been waiting for a commit for a few months. I have been running the corrected version all of this time with no issues. The fix is certainly non-essential, but it is very annoying to have things like terminal windows appear with incorrect sizes eating up excessive amounts of the screen.
