lpr is looking for the default printer named 'lp'. It seems you don't hav=
e one ;)

As it stands you will need to nominate the specific printer each time it'=
s used.
# lpr -P pm780c=20
or
# lp -d pm780c

To make it use this printer by default you must give it 'lp' as one of it=
s names as in:
    lp|pm780c|EPSON PM780C:\
