            Bug ID: 197865
           Summary: clang autoconf conftest behaving different from 10.1
                    with libs from ports
           Product: Base System
           Version: 10.0-RELEASE
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: bin
          Assignee: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: spil.oss@gmail.com

During a build of curl with LibreSSL as SSL library the build fails due to
detecting an unavailable function during configure.
What I've noticed is that the order in which the libraries are searched differs
between 10.0/clang3.3 and 10.1/clang3.4

Attaching config.log for both versions.
If you wish to test this, add
WITH_OPENSSL_PORT=    yes
OPENSSL_PORT=         security/libressl
to your make.conf and build ftp/curl
