Did you tried you with PORTREVISION 3 ? PORTREVISION 2 were fairly broken on
-STABLE, as we already discussed.

"autoconf-hell" *is* mandatory for a better flexibility in apache2* ports.
I won't remove it, but I want to fix all issues this changes could have.

Does apache2 work correctly if you skip post-configure target ?
