With my stable-kernel from yesterday (May 28) I had problems with
nfs-connections to a DEC-Alpha (Digital Unix 3.2C).

The alpha errors: many "NFS server: stale file handle ..." errors.

Now I switched back to a kernel from May 24 (with nfs compiled in)
and everything is fine.

I sup the stable tree every day, so I believe a modified file between
May 24 and May 28 makes the trouble

Werner

P.S.: I had also spurious "cc1 fatal signal 11" with the new kernel !
