Well, IMHO if you want to run current you have to be prepared for a machine 
that doesn't work properly.. (read the handbook :)
Anyway, if it doesn't work you can always cvsup back to an known working 
version... (Of course assuming you have a machine that you can _use_ to run 
cvsup =)
