It was probably from a 5.0 package you accidently downloaded them.  
Use pkg_add -r to automagically download what you need,

This verifies what I Said above, you downloaded a package that was 
compiled against libc.so.5

It looks like there is a problem with a header somewhere as DIR 
should be declared, but I"m not sure as to the exact solution.
