Just because way (2) uses config/compile/build environment from /usr/obj/...,
not from the installed base system.

I think some Makefile magic could be done to make second way useable in case of
nonexistent /usr/obj/..., but this question should be directed to ru@, I
suppose (and do not expect he would not be angry 'cause of this! ;-)
