The AIC-7850 wasn't supported in FreeBSD-2.1. You need to upgrade to -stable, or get the last snapshot of -current, or even wait for 2.1.5 due really soon. The aic7xxx driver also had some bug fixes and enhancements incorporated into -stable and -current. Dan Eischen deischen@iworks.InterWorks.org
