You must use the subversion-freebsd port to checkout FreeBSD sources,
not the regular subversion port.

Also, if you switch from CVS or csup-based checkouts to Subversion-based
checkouts, you will have to deal with a lot of these changes.

Fortunately, you should only have to do this once.
