I haven't actually tested this, but the documentation for boot(8) says that '-D' and 'h' toggle the bhavior, and that '-P' sets -D and -h. This might mean that -P sets -D and -h, and the subsequent -D and -h *reset* them once again. I'd suggest removing them; I'm running with just -D just fine.
