Once fresh installed (on FreeBSD 9.0-CUR/amd64 under windowmaker and fluxbox), the main window opens up. When closing/quitting pidgin, the client doesn't die, an icon remains. After killing the client after 10 minutes waiting ends up in refusing opening a main window when started again. When started (and not showing up the main window), conversation windows can be opened by known 'buddies', but user can't open actively conversations, since the buddies are listed in the vanished main window. This behaviour was introduced on all tested platforms with pidgin 2.7.0. >How-To-Repeat: Install pidgin 2.7.0_2. Try quitting pidgin. If pidgin will not quit properly, kill after 5 or ten minutes. Then try opening pidgin again. >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
