When looking at the alpha release notes (RELNOTES.TXT) I see an awful lot of adapters/hardware listed as 'supported' which I'm pretty sure have never seen the inside of any alpha box. Things like the ISA SCSI controllers, proprietary CDROM interfaces etc is what I mean.
