Hi! gdb does not seem to work on the latest freebsd-current: 13:37 root-ttyp2 Burka:/tmp#gcc -g a.c 13:37 root-ttyp2 Burka:/tmp#gdb a.out GDB is free software and you are welcome to distribute copies of it under certain conditions; type "show copying" to see the conditions. There is absolutely no warranty for GDB; type "show warranty" for details. GDB 4.16 (i386-unknown-freebsd), Copyright 1996 Free Software Foundation, Inc... (gdb) r Starting program: /usr/tmp/a.out Error accessing memory address 0x1087: Bad address. (gdb) The program is running. Quit anyway (and kill it)? (y or n) y 13:38 root-ttyp2 Burka:/tmp#cat a.c void main(){} This is on todays current, with todays kernel and gdb , after a make world. The same gdb appears to work fine with kernel from about a month ago. Any ideas? Best regards. -------- Gennady B. Sorokopud - System programmer at NetVision Israel.
