Greetings:

How do I create a named pipe?

I have a question creating a named pipe using the mknod command. The syntax
the book says mknod /dev/xxx.yy p where p is tell the mknod to
create a named pipe. I am trying to connect to a ethernet print server using
named pipes. But it seems the FreeBSD mknod command doesn't understand the "p"

One more dumb question. What is the man page for rebuilding the kernel?

Thanks
