Maybe a strange suggestion from recent articles from technical newspapers published here: Put the disk in the freezer for a few hours. Don't let it get wet! Then, remove it from the refrigerator and quickly plug it back to the system, before it warms up, and backup all the data you can, because it may be the last time you'll be able to use it and read it 's data.
