Use the port lang/php4-extensions. You will be prompted to select the 
modules that you need. Another way (in fact it's same way, but manually) 
  would be to install each module separately

  /usr/ports/ftp/php4-curl
  /usr/ports/security/php4-openssl
  /usr/ports/mail/php4-imap

etc.
