OK, it works again. I removed the card, booted,
and re-inserted the card.

It started to work after I added mediaopt adhoc to the ifconfig line
in start_if.wi0:

ifconfig wi0 ssid my_id mediaopt adhoc
Had to setup the default route manually and then had connection
again. I'm not using any encryption abd although the lights
were already flashing as usual I got connectionb only
after setting this adhoc mediaopt.

This is a kludge of course and it would be great if that could be
fixed soon.
