Hello all,

This is just a note to let you all know that the open source Atheros HAL
has been merged from HEAD to -STABLE.

I tested it out OK on an IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad T43 with an AR5212 in
HostAP and STA mode, and on an
ASUS EeePC 701 with AH5424 (PCI-express) in STA mode.

The ath_rate* modules have been removed as kernel modules, however the
options remain, as these
are now knobs for the HAL as it gets built into if_ath.ko itself.

Furthermore, the ath_hal module should no longer be required.

regards,
BMS
