I decided to run 'make installworld' again and
'mergemaster'.

being that I have been acustom to the 3.x branch I
believe I screwed up mergemaster and its simplicity.

I am happy to say that I no longer need someone to
shoot me :-)

I am back in touch with my inner child while
navigating my newly upgraded system.

all is well..
salute.
