Since I've never used a serial console with freebsd, I have to ask this question as well.. once the system is up and running, unless there was something actually written to the console, what would be my other options? Most of these crashes I have been experiencing are full wedges. Of course, the screen blanker fixes any hope of seeing any output from the xconsole or anything else for that matter. Also, in the case of a hard wedge, any chance of it dropping into debug mode? Sam To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
