We have been trying to connect a hardwired terminal to com 1 on our freebsd box
and we can't seem to get it right. We are using /dev/ttyd0 in getty. Getty
is waiting after ` kill -HUP 1`. We are using wires 2,3,7 on our cable. We
even tried to invert 2,3 in our testing.

Question: Is ttyd0 the right device for terminals?

Do we need more than wires 2,3,7 connected on our cable?
