Did anyone figure out why the 2.1.x gcc-2.6.3 is producing better code than 2.2 gcc-2.7.2? I get a faster rc5-56-client benchmark on my 486 with gcc-2.6.3 produced binary than the gcc-2.7.2, so I don't think it is all Pentium optimations. -- -- David (obrien@NUXI.com -or- obrien@FreeBSD.org)
