I ordered another SD card to experiment with FreeBSD 11 on Raspberry =20 Pi B+. This one was a Kingston 16GB Class 6. It booted successfully =20 10 out of 10 times when using low speed (hw.bcm2835.sdhci.hs=3D"0"). It =20 failed to boot 10 out of 10 times when using high speed =20 (hw.bcm2835.sdhci.hs=3D"1"). To summarize my findings so far: 16GB Transcend Class 10: will not boot using high speed; boots =20 consistently at low speed but experienced catastrophic file system =20 corruption after 10 days of heavy use 32GB Sandisk Class 10: boots consistently at high speed (41.6MHz) and =20 low speed (25MHz); however it always panics during auto-resizing; =20 panic when building pkg 32GB Samsung Class 6: will not boot using high speed; boots =20 consistently at low speed; have not had any SD card related panics yet =20 after 6 days of heavy use 16GB Kingston Class 6: will not boot using high speed; boots =20 consistently at low speed Luiz, have you made any progress finding the root cause of these SD =20 card problems? Are you seeing similar results during your testing?
