It usually means that your cache has a problem dealing with busmastering
interface cards.  Under DOS/Windows there's little likelihood of the
processor conflicting with a busmastering card, but with FreeBSD
all bets are off.

It's basically a motherboard design fault, and one that's not particularly
easy to work around by the sound of it.
