I have this problem as well, since I only have a 10mbit network at home I wasn't able to debug it (over new years I was at a friend's who has 100mbit) However, Bill's NDIS driver worked perfectly, no crashes, if you're running into this problem a lot i'd suggest that for now until someone (Stuart?) gets around to fixing it.
