the first thing to try might be "ln -s /usr/local /usr/X11R6",
this helps find things that used to be in /usr/X11R6 which went to
/usr/local. anything ending in ".diff" is supposed to be used by
"patch", but i don't know what you mean by "xorg-libraries.diff". it
won't be of any use to put it in some folder, because it contains
instructions on how to change a certain file mentioned in its header.
