Because it would be worse to violate POLA again (by providing multiple=20
metaports) to remedy a former violation (which was to not keep the metaport=

in sync with KDE). Again: x11/kde3 does nothing but provide KDE, as defined=

by the KDE project. This should not be a surprise for any user, the old=20
metaport was surprising users (and causing regular questions like "Where ha=
