Hi there,

Is this a known problem in STABLE? If so, when will the mutex problem be
corrected in 4.2? I believe that many people make use of MySQL in their
everyday use, either personal or commercial, and use also the FreeBSD
OS... so it's rather a must-fix-soon issue.

Any ET(Fix)?

TIA
Noor

Since the poster has already tried a dump/reload cycle, I suspect that
FreeBSD 4.2-RELEASE to 4.2-STABLE has a problem with MySQL. Of course
it
is well known that 4.2-RELEASE has a thread mutex bug. See the other
thread in this mailing list on MySQL issues...
