Yuck!  Debian has the worst packaging system of any OS I have ever seen.  If
newbies are confused now, just wait until they try a debian linux-style
packaging system.. LOL

Seriously though, I don't see anything wrong with our current ports
collection and the debian stuff is a step (or two) backwards if you ask me.
