Hi many thanks. It was the X11 make.conf switch as you said, it = installed fine as soon as I removed it from the config and recompiled = cairo. It looks like you have WITHOUT_X11=3Dyes in somewhere like in your = make.conf? Show us the output of 'make configure' in the graphics/cairo. = =20 Also, show us the output of 'make -V WITHOUT_X11' in graphics/cairo.
