Hi again,

Debug symbols are not enabled in my
kernel config file. I have used
the same config file for at least
four builds and am curious about the
diff in file size on the most recent
build.

Config file is posted at
http://www.tradica.com/OCTOBER

Motherboard Intel D815EEA2
Processor PIII-750

ls -l /kernel*
-r-xr-xr-x 4042534 Oct 31 15:13 /kernel
-r-xr-xr-x 1976093 Oct 10 12:21 /kernel.old

size /kernel*
text data bss dec hex filename
3125253 307436 254292 3686981 384245 /kernel
1496529 130164 105648 1732341 1a6ef5 /kernel.old

Thanks,
Robert
