After experimenting a bit I found that 4.3 is installing fine, starting
with 4.4 the system hangs.
It seems to be bug#30902, but unfortunately I can't change any USB-BIOS
settings. Also removing USB from the kernel of 4.5-GENERIC doesn't help.
Any chances to fix this bug?
