It looks OK now, aside from the stopping spamd on deinstall; I druther
it didn't do that.  I assumed the "zombie issue" you mentioned is the
rc script losing track of it (from that rm -rf'ery); if that's the
case, it should be OK to leave it going now that it's not clearcutting
things.
