Should not be a problem.  I have run 2 DPTs and 4 of these Intels on the
same IRQ, or separate IRQ.  That's not the reason.

That could be it.  Some slots on some MBs are non-mastering, ugly or broken.

Let me know what hardware configuration you are using and what
success/failure you have.
