Mpd is basically a multi-link version of ijppp.. originally based
on it but completely rewritten... there's a new version available at
ftp://ftp.whistle.com/pub/archie/mpd-1.0b4.tgz
Some functionality was removed, such as LQR, filtering, and terminal
mode. It has a (IMHO) better scripting language though, which allows
you to auto-detect the modem type, etc.
