Hi Gordon,

Yes, I installed the xlibs:

124 wol .../~ > pkg_info | grep XFree
XFree86-fontEncodings-4.2.0 XFree86-4 font encoding files
XFree86-fontScalable-4.2.0 XFree86-4 Scalable font files
XFree86-libraries-4.2.1_5 XFree86-4 include/(shared) library kit

I'm not aware that I need anything else for X tunnelling to function, but I'm no
way an expert on this, so it could be that I've forgotten to install something
critical.
