You can always remove things.  Reinstallation from scratch is a
Microsoft approach, one that I strongly discourage.

You need to say what you were doing.  Normally you don't need
Ghostscript.

No, that's in "The Complete FreeBSD", second edition
(http://www.cdrom.com/titles/os/bsdbook2.htm).  It looks as if you
don't have it.  Take a look at /book/book.txt on the first CD-ROM, it
explains it in more detail (but you'll find the printed book
infinitely easier to handle and read).

Nope.  I'd say "nuke Windows 95% and leave it nuked" :-)

Seriously, it's difficult to help if you don't give details.  And the
book is really worth it.
