You can always remove things. Reinstallation from scratch is a Microsoft approach, one that I strongly discourage. > Also I installed it and how do I get the master boot record to work > properly so I can use win95 and freebsd? No, that's in "The Complete FreeBSD", second edition (http://www.cdrom.com/titles/os/bsdbook2.htm). It looks as if you don't have it. Take a look at /book/book.txt on the first CD-ROM, it explains it in more detail (but you'll find the printed book infinitely easier to handle and read). > I use a certain amount but I mess up the dos partition and have to > re install win95 again, its getting to be repetative. I'd say "nuke Windows 95% and leave it nuked" :-) Seriously, it's difficult to help if you don't give details. And the book is really worth it.
