BTW, how do I prevent gnome-2's icon manager ("Window List 1.0") from
being too smart?

Its expanding the icons to fit the space I've made available to it in
the (vertical) panel. I'd prefer that each icon was the same number
of pixels, regardless of the number of icons present (like twm does).
gnome 1.4 didn't seem to have this problem.. Is this a new feature?

I've made a little better by setting min size to 300 and max size
to 600 in the window list size area of the prefs, but its still pretty
ugly.

Thanks,

Drew
