Hello Francesco,

We appreciate the information. Indeed, FreeBSD POWER/PowerPC is hit and 
miss with a lot of stuff.

If you're looking for a neat OS to run on the eMac, you can try MorphOS. 
Its commercial, and not UNIX-like, but its actively developed for 32-bit 
PowerPC systems.
